There is a small dent underneath the bell stem and a tiny split in the bell ring. The finish is silver plate with some light surface scratches throughout the horn. A favorite of a lot of pros even though it's an intermediate horn. ![]() All the DeVilles were ML Bore (.408) and lightweight for the "light French sound" that was desirable at the time, and it plays nicely with a crisp, light and centered sound. Serial number puts it in the mid 60's, a great time for the manufacture Selmer instruments. Compression is very good and valves are quite good, all slides move freely and pop when pulled. ![]()
